A Perfect Cornish Sunset by Kelly Tink

With Jo’s future changed forever, it’s time to embrace a new chapter in her life. One which will take her away from her Cornish home and the ex-boyfriend who’s living the life which should have been theirs.

But crossing paths with local surfer Ben before she leaves wasn’t part of the plan. Seven years ago Ben’s world was turned upside down, but could Jo be the one to make it right for him? When hidden truths threaten, Jo will have to fight for love and the life she’s really meant to live.

This was my first ever read by Kelly Tink but I’m definitely off to buy her previous book, Meet Me in the Treehouse now. I loved her writing so much. This is definitely an emotional read so you’ll need to bring the tissues, I went through a few reading this.

My heart felt so much for Jo as you read this, although a touch close to home maybe as I had a friend go through something similar (except he told her he didn’t want kids before going off with his pregnant girlfriend!) so I got really attached to Jo, angry, sad , my vengeance streak definitely kicked into gear. I was so happy when she met Ben and of course the wonderful Poppy, what happens next , well you’ll have to read yourself, but I will say Poppy is adorable and we should see the world through children so much more.

If you want an uplifting, emotional ride, great characters you’ll get overly attached to and wonderful writing, look no further, you’ll have to excuse me I need to go buy more tissues in preparation.

Thanks to Kelly Tink and Rachel’s Random Resources for a free copy of this wonderful read, for full disclosure I received a free ebook in exchange for an honest and voluntary review. All opinions are my own and freely given
